There are 1.3 billion people living with disabilities globally. Despite greater health needs, they are marginalized when it comes to accessing healthcare services. The Missing Billion Initiative (MBI) is a non-for-profit catalyst that aims to transform health systems around the world to be disability-inclusive. To facilitate better health access and outcomes for persons with disabilities, we develop solutions to help Ministries of Health and other national actors identify and implement concrete actions. We provide data to inform and influence global health funders and implementers. We mobilize to enable joint action and collaboration of all global health stakeholders.
