IMAGEN/Indigenous Justice Circle

IJC
Native American girls carry immense responsibilities within their extended, multi-generational families. They face unique challenges within and beyond their communities. They are distinct from every other segment of young people in the United States, from the lifeways their ancestors have passed down to them, to the violence, trafficking and related risks they face. Despite their provision of emotional and financial support to younger and older family members, few programs directly address the stressors Indigenous teen girls and young women face.
